WHO WE ARE

Driving America’s HEARTLAND

OUR MISSION

RCT US's mission is to harness and innovate proprietary technologies that create a cleaner, more sustainable future by transforming biogenic CO2 and other pollutants into valuable, non-hydrocarbon products—turning environmental challenges into opportunities for positive change.

WHO WE ARE

RCT US is committed to driving innovation in the Midwest by strategically deploying its cutting-edge carbon technology to ethanol facilities, positioning them as leaders in sustainability and efficiency. By colocating RCT US solutions directly within ethanol production sites, we aim to lower carbon intensity (CI) scores significantly, enabling these facilities to meet and exceed environmental standards while reducing their overall carbon footprint.

A key component of our initiative is the production of cleaner fuels like bio-methanol, which offers a sustainable alternative for transportation in chemical and industrial applications. Bio-methanol has the potential to displace fossil-based fuels and chemicals, significantly reducing pollutants in traditionally hard-to-abate industries such as refining, concrete, and lime production. This advancement not only addresses global environmental concerns but also provides ethanol facilities with the opportunity to play a pivotal role in decarbonizing critical sectors.

RCT US’s approach also offers significant process advantages, particularly through its innovative hydrogenation technology. By continuously hydrogenating carbon dioxide, RCT US converts it into methanol or dimethyl ether in a single pass, streamlining operations with compact equipment that reduces both capital and operational expenses. This process results in up to a 50% reduction in CAPEX and OPEX, making it a highly cost-effective solution for ethanol facilities looking to expand their product portfolios while improving operational efficiency.

Through product diversification, RCT US equips ethanol facilities with the tools to tap into high-demand markets for low-carbon fuels, bioproducts, and renewable chemicals. This diversification not only aligns with global sustainability goals but also fortifies the financial stability of ethanol producers by creating new revenue streams.
